- There are no walk-ins: every Bürgerbüro service needs an appointment booked in advance.
- One online booking can cover the Anmeldung for up to four people.
- Düsseldorf's online registration accepts the eID function of a German ID card, an electronic residence permit or an EU eID card.
- Residence and settlement permits are applied for only through the online services. Email applications are no longer accepted.
