Anfänger is free to use. We don't sell data, and we don't show display ads.
Affiliate links
Some links to banks, phone plans, energy suppliers and similar services are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, the provider may pay us a commission. You don't pay more. Partner links are marked with an asterisk (*), and pages that contain them say so at the top.
How we rank providers
Each comparison page lists its criteria and their weight — for example whether you can open an account before your Anmeldung, whether there is English support, and what it costs. The order follows those criteria. Whether a provider pays us is not one of them. A provider without any commercial relationship can, and often does, come first.
Every comparison also lists free or public alternatives where they exist.
What we never do
- Rank by commission, or accept payment for placement without labelling it as an ad.
- Put affiliate links into official-procedure guides as if they were part of the procedure.
- Broker insurance or embed insurance calculators. We explain insurance and link to insurers' own sites.
- Promote loans or investments.
Why it matters
